Job description
Your main tasks will include:
- Supervision of experiments with the X-ray emission spectrometer (XES-spectrometer) at the ACT station of the CAT-ACT beamline, KIT Light Source
- Managing development and commissioning of new instrumentation part of the XES-spectrometer at the ACT station.
- Co-development of in-situ experimental setups at the X-SPEC beamline at the KIT Light Source
- Contribution to the development and installation of the ROXS station for soft X-ray studies of actinide materials at the X-SPEC beamline, KIT Light Source
- Updating and improving the documentation for the XES-spectrometer
- Investigation of actinide sample systems using high-resolution XES/XAS and NIXS methods
- Performing data analysis and publishing results
- Contribution to teaching activities<

Salary
Salary category 13 TV-L, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
